Improved

Richer company and contact data on Enrich, plus live LinkedIn posts

Effective date: October 14, 2026

Company and contact objects now carry much more data, and Enrich can now fetch the newest LinkedIn posts live. This applies to every workspace for the data fields. Live LinkedIn is starting with select workspaces (see below).

Company data: more fields, fixed names

Every company object (/v1/companies/enrich, /v1/companies/search, /v1/contacts/enrich, /v1/contacts/search, buyer intent companies) now comes from our new company database of 18 million companies. New fields, returned only when we have a value:

FieldWhat it is
idA stable company ID
hq_city, hq_state, hq_countryHeadquarters (country as ISO-2)
founded_yearYear founded
employees_on_linkedinHeadcount shown on the LinkedIn page
b2b, b2cBusiness model flags
employee_count_confidence, revenue_confidence, industry_confidenceHow sure we are of each value
products, services, target_customerWhat the company sells and to whom

industries now uses one list of 363 industries (see GET /v1/filters). Employee counts and description come from the same source. Names and LinkedIn URLs are cleaned: for example meta.com now returns "Meta" and amazon.com returns "Amazon".

Contact data: profile, history and emails

Every contact object (/v1/contacts/enrich, /v1/contacts/search, and the contact on each signal) can now include:

  • id, headline, and names, city, state and country when the signal has none
  • current_job (company, title, seniority, department, start date)
  • work_history, education and skills
  • emails, each with a type, a status and a last-verified date

Emails and phones are included at no extra credit cost. Phone numbers are not available yet. People who opted out are never returned.

Enrich now answers when a person or company has no signals

If a contact or company has no signals but we know it, Enrich returns the profile with an empty signals list and profile_only: true. This costs a flat 1 credit. Lookups by email now work for any person in our database, not only people with signals.

If your filters remove every signal but signals exist, you get the profile for 0 credits.

Signals no longer repeat the company

Signals inside Enrich and Search answers no longer repeat the company or contact that is already at the top of the answer. Answers are about 35% smaller. If you read signal.company inside an Enrich answer, read the top-level company instead. GET /v1/signals/{id} is unchanged and still returns both.

Live LinkedIn posts (starting with select workspaces)

Stored LinkedIn posts can lag the real page by weeks. Enrich can now also read the newest posts straight from LinkedIn and merge them into the same answer:

  • Where: /v1/companies/enrich and /v1/contacts/enrich, when LinkedIn posts are in scope (no type filter, or linkedin-post-company / linkedin-post-contact).
  • How: live posts use the same signal format. Each live post has "source": "live".
  • No duplicates: a post we already store appears once, as the stored copy.
  • Speed: if the live read takes longer than 4 seconds, you get the stored posts as before.
  • Window: live posts go back about 6 months. Your detected_after filter applies to them.
  • Price: live posts cost the same as stored signals, 2 credits each. A slow or failed live read costs nothing extra.
  • Not stored: live posts are returned to you and are not saved in the database.

Live LinkedIn is on for select workspaces first. We are rolling it out to more workspaces and adding the same live read for other sources, such as X (Twitter) posts and LinkedIn comments. For fresh social activity, it reduces the need to add a company or contact to a monitoring pool. Monitoring pools stay the way to track signals over time and to get delivery of new signals.

Clearer warning when domain and linkedin_url disagree

/v1/companies/enrich accepts a domain, a company_name or a linkedin_url. If you send a domain and a linkedin_url for different companies, the answer is for the domain, as before. It now also returns a warnings entry that names both. To look up the other company, send linkedin_url without domain.

Faster content search

Searches with content filters (keywords, technologies, competitors) are faster on a cold start. Results and credit prices are unchanged.
